When travelling I have always been fascinated by the love that is poured into architecture outside of North America.  It is a reminder that often an absence of money leaves room for creativity and soulfulness. To me, a door holds as much of a message as it does a function.  It speaks to what might be beyond its threshold.  Todos Santos, Mexico has plenty of beautiful doorways and as I place that I will spend much time during my life- I can say I am in the midst of this collection.
